Running on all three

Pick up another 8n for parts. Rod came thru the side of the block. Strapped it up to clear the crank, covered the hole with piece of cardboard, started it up and drove it off the trailer and up
to the barn on 3 cylinders. shown here operating step thru loading, which is for sale.

Kirk, not to stir up any trouble for you, but just how many Fords does that make in your herd? I count 5 just in that one picture!!

My wife counted them a couple of weeks ago and said I got 28 but that's only the ones she knows about on this farm.

Years ago I was up to 23 but I have thinned the herd. My wife only knew there were umteen for awhile; more than 10 less than 20. I'm down to 12 and working to get down to about 6 keepers. I keep seeing, oh yes machines but I am resisting...so far. Like being on a diet. LOL

Great post Kirk.
It's amazing how durable they are.
But you should get yourself a Ford that was built to run on 3.
I'm certain you'd like them.

Actually the oil pressure was too bad about 15 when drove off the trailer and up to barn and when I showed loader operation. Even with the cardboard blocking the hole I lost quit a bit of oil, If
the hole wasn't so big and took out part of the oil pan I would patch the hole put in new piston, rod, bearing resurface the crank and run it. But I got other blocks and engines for swap.
