Working on our preacher's 9n. Valves
make a funny noise. Used a stethoscope
and figured out that they snap when they
start to rise. Took them all out,
cleaned good, put em back. Same noise.
Looks like they are sticking in the
guides. Any ideas?

Bit hard to tell but the valves stick in the guide pretty good..... Normal?

I don't see a valve sticking...

I do see the lifter fall on the cam and make a make a ding... That may be normal under your conditions. I have seen while turning the engine over by hand the cam walks and will pop back to be normal.
