8n lift with limited range.

I have a 1952 8N that seems to move the lift only around 3 inches near the top of the lever's range. I thought that was normal until recently when I've seen videos of lifts going much higher. What part(s) need replacement to fix this?

Also, when I switch to draft control mode, the lift does absolutely nothing no matter where I move the lever. This doesn't seem right. Any thoughts on what might be broken?

I'm getting ready to "get in there" and am trying to do my research.

Thanks for your help.

JMiller29 ,You might try and loosen the 4 bolts that hold the quadrant (it has slotted holes ) and rotate it all the way to the rear ,tighten and try that.

Thanks for your response. Can you tell me what you mean by "Quadrant"?

It's time to remove the lift cover, replace the cam follower pin and readjust the draft and position control settings.

You were right. I loosened the bolts and tapped the plate back. The lift has better range but not full range. I was going to ask about a pin or something. I guess that's my next step. A Million Thanks!!!
