Mine ain't near as "fluffy" as yours, but from what my neighbor (born in the area) told me, this is one of the biggest snows he's seen in a long time...

I probably didn't really [i:06d7b90cab]need[/i:06d7b90cab] to plow the driveway, but it did give me a SEAT TIME opportunity, culminating in some fun donuts at the end. We already had about 2" of sleet and ice on the ground, and got around 4-5" of good-for-snowmen "packing" snow overnight.

Hope y'all are doin' well and stayin' warm!

We moved to Dallas,Tx in 1959,and I never saw much snow there. In the late '70s,I drove to Sweetwater[in West Texas] in a
blizzard, but it isn't something that happens often. We currently have about 12" of snow in Tennessee.

Good to hear you are havin' fun at yer new abode!! AND, I see your
8N partner is helping out.
Good you kept it, seeing that there is still a NEED for it!!!!

Cute little snowcake set you have there. WE, call that 'Ground cover' around here!!!!

This will show ya what I've been doing, since our last two snow jobs.....:160 foot of street and parking areas, that the County does not plow. We have to do it for access to our houses!!!!!???
You know how our street and property is set up,....(your visit here)!!!

Upper drive to my shop area, has not been completed yet!!! I'll start on it tomorrow, If we don't get the expected 6-8" more snow tonight. Thank's to my FEL and Ford 3000....we can 'Hack it'

Hope all is well for you and yours!!!!!

I'm NOT really in a laughing mood today!
As you remember, I told you that my snowblower was not running, SO, I picked today to fig. out why. (Bad move on my part!!!)
DANG carb. problem!! OH Yippy!!
Having to tear this one down, from bottom up!
Found the prob. but working on this blower, is like working with TINKER TOYs. Made of pot metal, and tin and getting to the carb......gotta tear down a WHOLE LOT of other parts, just to get to the carb!!!!
here is what the carb looks like.
At least I did find a download, to work with!!!

"Where is Royce, when ya need him?????????????????"

Basking in the 46 degree weather in Michigan today!

:p

34deg. F here for a high!! Fingers felt like frozen nubs, by the time I left the blower in the tractor shed, and came into the house.

Never fails......when things go to heck....it starts to get colder, and starts snowing AGAIN!!!

Gary

Bummer about that carb. I'll have to check and see if I can recommend a good carb guy, huh?? :p

For whatever reason, I have a very low success rate tinkering with small gas engines. I don't envy you one bit!
