Sound is drowned out when tractor is being jumped off. Sound is noticeable up to about 900 RPM and is completely drowned out by 1100 RPM. I could wear ear buds but it wouldn't be very safe. Sound is very clear with key in the off position.

Enjoy

If I wanted to make a website link a simple clickable link how would I do that? Some of you rename your links. I want to make this Gunsmoke Radio a link.

My magneto only makes an impulse coupling noise while cranking. Once started it should not make any noise.

,sorry I missed that part.It could be the mechanical advance weights rubbing on something at cranking speed/idle speed Listen close with a short piece of hose to your ear around the distributor base when it is making the noise.

am tapping the mic, at least that is what Johnny Carson did when his jokes missed. I was saying the tractor drowns out my cellphone to where I can't hear Gunsmoke radio playing. I listen to it at times while working.

tap on your mike all you want, but your first post made it sound like your engine was making a lot of noise, now I see that you were just off topic!

'm not hardly your boy there son. The question itself is so vague I figured no one would take it seriously. Figured you guys would select the link I put up and figure out it was a lame joke on me. I did not intend to hurt any feelings or make a fool out of anyone.

Many here gathered around the radio as youngsters with their parents to listen to these programs. As for the reason I shared the website, your welcome.
