Anyone have trouble getting the shaft back in after changing seal?

Sometimes, the new seal can make it a little more difficult to get slid back in. Just keep wiggling the PTO shaft to make sure you get the splines lined up. (Hope you don't have a nick or burr on the end of the shaft)

It acts like the shaft inside has slipped down. I can reach in
through the inspection panel and wiggle the teeth up but it
falls back down just a bit.

The seal is fine, its the splines will not mesh inside.

ay have to loosen the pump mount bolts so that it will align with the shaft better!
