Well I killed the tractor. It starts up no issue but put it in gear and it
won’t move, pto is turning but only slightly, no lift either.

Clutch doesn’t “feel” off but I have the idea I might have burned out
the clutch. What else would cause this?
Fluid levels are all where they should be, transmission is full.

Is there "free travel" on the clutch pedal?

Meaning that when you depress the pedal it moves easily for an inch or a bit more before you encounter the resistance of the mechanism actually beginning to release the clutch?

Is your auxillary trans in neutral? Push in clutch to shift.

How cold is it where you are and how long has it been since you changed the oil in the transmission?
Pretty common this time of year to have water in the transmission that has frozen solid.

It’s cold here now but this was a couple of days ago. Parked it after using it fairly hard and then couldn’t move it. Transmission fluid completely changed out in august or September - had milky residue when I went to check it so drained and it’s clear now.
I’ve moved the lever in the front once when I first got it- was explained to me those are for road gear but it stalls out (propane converted) so I switched it back and didn’t touch it again. However will double check that as I have kids and they play with stuff 🙄

The clutch has never had a lot of feel to it? Pushes in easily, draws 3/4 the way out before it engages or so. Just acts like a pickup with a burned out clutch was what made me think of it.

It ended up being the aux transmission had been bumped into neutral. So we were sitting with both our trucks sunk in the epic snow drifts of Texoma and I figured Id give it a shot. Fired it up at -10 degrees and took right off...pulled out my 1 ton and husbands 3/4 ton truck and plowed the driveway with the scraper blade so we could get in and out after sitting stranded for a week.
So glad someone suggested it, I was baffled. I had driven it, parked it and walked off and then when I went to move it I had nothing! Someone must have bumped it or snagged it on a heavy jacket or something to pop it out.
