Ford Factory Rims

I'm in the process of replacing some tires. I've found some decent used tires on original ford rims. My tires are on original ford rims as well. I noticed that the tires I'm looking at have the valve stem on the inside of the tire, where my rims the valve stem is on the outside of the tire.

Is one way the correct OEM way?

Why are they different?

Valve stem can be on one or the other - no set correct way. Tire tread has 8 different settings from "48 to 76" and you switched out rims and center discs to get the setting desired so one setting may have valve stem inside, another setting to outside. OEM FORD/KELSEY HAYES 28 x 9 Hat Rims used on all N's with 10 x 28 (now 11.2 x 28) tire size. Looking for a set of OEM Hat Rims? I have two sets. One with the OEM FIRESTONE CHAMPION SPADE GUIDE GRIP closed bar centers included, up for sale.
