Narrowing an 8n

Narrowest tread setting listed is 48". That would be center of tread to center of tread, front and rear. Have to add half of tire width on each side. Rears were either 10" or 11" wide so rear width on 11" rim width would be 59". Front less.

It's amazing what you can find in your OEM ESSENTIAL MANUALS. The 8N Operator's Manual has this info. Bill(WI) is correct -48" tire tread with eight settings spaced at 4" each.
