My son bought an 8N with an over under transmission. The tractor had a known seized engine.
We swapped a known recently rebuilt engine along with a clutch.
Knowing we should've checked/ rebuilt Sherman while itractor was split we elected to not do that.
While it was split and rear tires off ground it did work while we turned shaft by hand. In other words
We could feel the different force needed to rotate wheels.
Now that it's back together my son is reluctant to try the Sherman.
Any real concerns with trying it'?
