What does it take to change this bearing ?

As the title says... what is the proper way to change this bearing ?
This is the input on the transmission. It's been running on a galled up bearing race, so I think it may be damaged also. It won't come off by hand, of course, and I gently tried a small puller, plus heat, on it and that didn't do it.

You need to tear it down and get the other bearings also...That is the only bearing in the trans that will give you a fit, I have a tool that may get it without disassembly I doubt I would gamble the other bearings are not bad... A bearing kit price is not bad its not a bad job to do...

So, you're saying I need to do a complete trans. rebuild ! Yikes ! The logic being...if one bearing is bad, others may be also ? That's not what I wanted to find out, bur it does make sense.
Apparently, there is a rebuild kit available ?
This trans. did have "Mud"(Oily,dirty water) in it when I first became it's care taker. I cleaned it out good back then(25+years ago), but the damage may have already been done.
