Throttle linkage not enough throttle

Got a 9n up and running that my grandpa had put up for a long time. It has 2 speed Sherman, on the column I get throttle response from idle down to about 1/2 maybe a little further but the last 3/4s or more where I need those RPMs it just doesn't give me any power.

On the carburetor there is plenty of room left for me to manually push back the throttle and get good RPMs.

I really don't see anything that looks wore out but I don't see a way to adjust anything. This linkage come more over the top from the column then down with a link to another arm (running down past the manifold) it was slightly bent I was able to bend it a little straighter and got a few more RPMs but no near enough.

I have an 8n that I looked at the and linkage runs more horizontal to the carburetor and seems to be better design.

I can get some pictures if needed or get a video.

Thank you!

The 9N/2N and 8N has differences, throttle linkage for one. Get your Essential Manuals as they have a much info on repairs. the CLYMER I&T FO-4 Manual is a big tool.

I have a 2N, so like your 9N the throttle linkage goes outside of the manifold. At full throttle I notice the link hits the
manifold. Is this just an issue of the new aftermarket manifolds, or is something out of place? I do get full throttle. It just
bothers me that the linkage is touching the manifold.
