Wagner Loader Controller

I fixed the leak(s) coming from between the body sections but there is a smaller leak from where the plunger exits the body. Needs new O-rings, right? Are they special "hydraulic" O-rings or just plumbing ones?

The parts manual is not real clear and I have never had one in hand but it looks like the two spool valve used on the WM3 models had special rubber stem seals - not o-rings.

If your valve uses o-rings you want common oil resistant Buna-N o-rings - 70 durometer hardness is typjcal. Cheap and readily available from most auto/tractor parts and online industrial suppliers like McMaster. I'd avoid the plumbing department at your local hardware store unless you are sure of exactly what they are selling.

I'll Pull one out and look. If it is not an O ring can a replacement be found or would I be best leaving it alone since it doesn't leak badly?

If its not an o-ring I doubt a replacement seal can be found and living with the leak would be your call. I am of the opinion that trying to repair these old loader valves is way more trouble than it's worth. New two spool directional control valves are cheap, leak free, and better featured.
