I was changing plugs on my tractor and found some new plugs that were here for many years. I thought I would check resistance on them for the heck of it and found the resistance in ohms from where the cable attaches to the center electrode at the other end was 0 on those I removed but showed an open on the new old stock ones! I had expected a reading of 0 ohms.
I went ahead and put those in which showed an open and the tractor ran great!
I thought perhaps there was some corosion inside the plug body that put a temporary short to ground of the center electrode tht burnt off right away when it started up.
What say you guru's?
