I have an old analog tachometer that I wish to use to adjust my new carb on my 1948 8N front mount.
I am not sure how to do it. The instructions say to attach the Black cable to ground...I assume in this case inasmuch as the tractor has positive ground, I need to attach the Red lead to ground.
The instructions further state that I need to attach the Red lead [b:1909659349]to the negative side of the coil[/b:1909659349]. [i:1909659349] However, my front mount coil (square can), does not have a [b:1909659349]negative[/b:1909659349] or a [b:1909659349]positive[/b:1909659349] pole as the only cars used to have...just one lead going to the top of the coil.[/i:1909659349][i:1909659349]
So, how should I attach the lead to the coil, or even if I can?[/i:1909659349]
