Hey everyone.. I am getting no spark at the plugs. I have power to the coil and the tip is hot but no spark going to the plugs. I bought a new distributor cap that goes to the electronic ignition. Could it possibly be the electronic ignition I changed 3 years ago?? Thanks everyone and I hope you are all safe

What do you mean, "the tip is hot?" To answer your question. Yes, Electronic ignition module can burn out at any time.

How much power to the coil.....exactly? EI is very voltage sensitive.

" the tip is hot" The tip of what? What is that supposedly telling us?

In addition to being voltage sensitive, EI is both polarity reversal sensitive and RFI sensitive. Are you using the suppression plug wires recommended by Pertronix?
