8-N Sediment glass bowl to gas-line flow-is air-locked ??

To all { 8-N } specialist of vast experiences of a problem, which I have attempted to resolve with "NO" solutions! I've drained the tank , blew air thru it, installed the flow turn-valve, wide open, { only] to see the little bubbles appear to swan-dive in the little Float glass, then releases a portion of gas, down -line, to the end of the
gas line But, just a dribble !!???
I'm stumped as there is a small 5/6 nut 30 deg, from the flow turn wheel, which I toyed with "thinking" maybe a little Air-access to assist the air mix for the Flow-valve adjustment, may give a nice assist!!
Absolutely Nothing, and everything on the 8-N has been replaced, for any thoughts of poor -up-keep!! I've heard there is a secondary-cavity of fuel access in the Henry Ford - 8-N's but , do I need to purchase a new gas Tank, or just a new tractor? Argh ! Sure apprecaite a good suggestion or lesson in Gas & air!!?

On my 53 NAA, I have to leave the bowl nut loose for it to fill and not air lock the fuel line. I generally also have the fuel line attachment slightly loose at the carb. I only tighten the bowl up snug when gas comes out the top. Wear gloves. Messy but effective. After the bowl is tightened up, I check for gas leaking at the carb fitting before tightening it up. This is probably not the correct method, but it works well for me.

On my 53 NAA, it is prone to the same problem. I leave the bowl nut loose and hold the bowl in place by hand until it completely fills and overflows. Wear gloves. It makes a mess. I generally wait 10 or 15 seconds after it starts overflowing before tightening the bowl nut snug.

I also loosen the gas line attachment to the carb slightly and wait until I see gas leaking from from the loose fitting before tightening the fitting. An alternate is to remove the drain plug from the carb and waiting until you get good flow before reinstalling drain plug.

Can someone explain this problem to me so I can understand what these guys are talking about? I have never seen this problem and it seems to me that if the fuel lines/screens are clean and the fuel tank is vented this should not happen. I am confused....I did read this at 3:30AM so that may be a contributing factor.....

he tiny passages in the inlet side of sediment bowl assembly commonly get plugged with trash. Take it apart, examine, blow air thru it in reverse direction.

I really don't understand what the problem is. If you empty and clean the fuel filter glass bowl and reassemble it and then turn the fuel on it's not going to fill with fuel. If the fuel bowl of the carburetor is full there is no place for the fuel to go so it's not going to fill the glass bowl. If you remove the drain at the bottom of the carburetor it will empty the carburetor and the fuel will flow into the glass bowl.
