Leaking 3-point pin support plate gasket

I have a 2n that is leaking out the lower 3-piont pin on the left axle housing like a sieve. It looks like the only way to replace the gasket is to remove the axle housing. Is it just a matter of draining the
80/90 out of the housing ,removing the 10 bolts, slide out the housing and removing the pin? Or does the axle and brake assembly have to be removed also. Any advice from someone who has done it
would be very much appreciated. Dale

You are on the right track.
What most people here do is remove the Left side axle (trumpet) then remove the differential. It's heavy but just pulls right out.
That way you can service the pins on both sides from the left.
No need to mess with the brakes.
