Hi Shaun, I have removed bolts from battery box and bolts on side of housing. Still unable to find the fill port. The tractor is 15 miles from our shop. using it with a bushhog to keep a field cut. Will wait until we bring the tractor home and start removing things to find the fill port.

Late 52 has a large pan head screw on the front of the steering column above the hood and below the steering wheel. If yours has that screw that is where you put the oil.

One other possibility comes to mind. If you have an aftermarket steering gearbox (Sparex) the oil fill plug is hidden under the dash mounting "saddle" centered 1-13/16" above the lower dash mounting bolt on the left side. You need to make a hole there or remove the dash to access it.

Deanostoybox,

I bought the tractor used some time ago. Do not know what the previous owner might have had done to the tractor. He is deceased now. I Think I will have to remove the dash to access the the oil port for the steering box
Chris

Thank you for the reply
