Intermittent clutch 8N

Recently purchased an 48 8N. I have a clutch issue....it works intermittently. We had issues shifting, the transmission was replaced. The clutch worked as it should for a few days, than only when it was cold, the warmer it got the less it worked. ? suggestions? I blocked the clutch, but I;m not sure you can say it is stuck, because it will work sometimes. We adjusted the travel in the clutch petal.....suggestions?

Start the tractor, press the clutch pedal, shift in to gear. works as it should for a short while, when it works. Press the clutch pedal attempt to switch gears and it won't come out of gear. You have to bump it out. then press the clutch pedal attempt to take it from neutral in to gear and it won't go. Park it, wait come back and it works as it should, then as it warms up it won't.
 
The transmission was replaced? Did you renew the clutch at that time? It sounds like a worn out clutch to me.

The problem existed prior to the transmission swap, the clutch was replaced at the same time. It worked as it should for a very short time, than it started again.
 
was the throw out bearing and pilot bearing replaced with the clutch? I would also check the rivet that connects the clutch pedal rod to the cross tube on the outside and the rivet on the forks that connects with the throw out bearing.

I was told they only changed the clutch plates. In any case it doesn't work as it should.

I'll start the process on replacing the clutch and associated items. Thanks.
