I have been having an aggravating issue with an 8N flooding. The carb has been replaced and float adjusted to the best of my ability but the issue remains. I can run in for about 45 mins to an hour and the flooding starts. The last episode I removed the gas cap and encountered a sucking or release of pressure. The cap was replaced but I really cant say If this is when this started. Recently Ive started reading about non-vented and vented caps and the reasons for switching due to the holes that vent the tank getting clogged. Would a venting or pressure problem cause flooding once the engine warms up to operating temp?
