I've repaired the control valve and the loader works well, but the right cylinder leaks. It has leaked a small amount for a while but is worse now. Is this something a novice can repair?

If leaking around the rod it probably just needs new packing. Remove the gland nut on the rod end of the cylinder and replace the old packing rings with new ones. Here is one of many sources for new packing rings:

Measure the ID of the cylinder and OD of the rod to determine size needed. The stack needs to be tall enough that the gland nut compresses it [u:3df625e253]just slightly[/u:3df625e253] when screwed down. You dont want it mashed down too tightly because that will shorten service life significantly.
