Splitting a Jubilee, simple question

Splitting my Jubilee to repair clutch problems. Is the drain plug area of the oil pan strong enough to support using a floor jack?
Thanks in advance.

I have split bunches of 53-64 with jack on drain plug area. Have 172 diesel with jack stand little farther back rite now. Also done many 65 up with steel pans also.

Very good. I have helped my old Ford tractor mechanic (85 years old now) split these tractors several times, many years ago. He now has sickness in his family so I didn't want to bother him. My (almost 80 year old) memory is getting a little foggy and I didn't want to take a chance on caving in the oil pan.
Your advice is really appreciated.
Great forum here.

When I split my '54 a few years ago, I used a chunk of 2x6 on the floor jack. Take your time and be safe.
