Slight oil leak after rebuild

So it's big enough for me to be concerned about. I've had a difficult time understanding why since I know and believe my rope seal was installed as per instructed. I'm using Shell Rotella T 15-40

If everything else is OK with the rebuild, I would live with it. I've rebuilt several engines and not had a problem with the rope seals, but
I move on if that was mine.

(quoted from post at 12:15:09 05/29/20) It's a Ford.
It's gonna leak somewhere.
I have thought about checking the oil filler cap. If I remember correctly it has a vent built into the cap itself correct? If this were plugged would it cause a buildup of pressure and thus a possible cause of leak? Thanks

Nicko,I would run it and see if it slows down or stops with use.Be sure the oil fill cap screan is cleaned up,The crank rope seals will swell over time and stop leaking. It will also have less crankcase pressure as the rings seat in as you run it.Don't worry and give it some run time.

Thank you Dean. I appreciate your advice. Its not going to leak out as I use the tractor sparingly so I'll just do as advised and keep a close eye on it. Regards Gentlemen

The bright blue spot on the tarp is where I wiped up the oil after I cleaned the Breather element of the oil filler cap. I let it run for about 20 minutes over the same spot and not even so much as a single drop. So I'm extremely happy to say that after 70 hours on a rebuild I don't have to split my Ford 8N one more time just to chase an oil leak thank you to everyone who helped regards
