Re-Pop 8N script fenders? $500 toy

The $500 toy has one excellent fender and the other has holes drilled in it for the mis-placed tool box.
The hood is script and I wonder about script fenders. Re-pop quality worth a spit? Or is it thin off shore tin?
Country of choice?

I can't answer your question about re-pops. I have encountered fenders in varioius degrees of dings, dents, bends and rust out.
We just took two "scab" script fenders off of my son's NAA and are installing two nice used script fenders that I bought at a tractor show/swap meet. I am saving the script section for possible future project.
How you chose to replace or repair is up to you. Fix what you have, find used, buy new. There have been discussions about piecing in the script Ford from a donor fender OR just buy the decals and place them on smooth fenders.

Arlen in Damascus and I am on the far side just above Hillsboro. Your a 3 hour round trip. Such fun. I have yet to get "Tweety" running.
Email is open. Drop a line and I could use another road trip.

Looks like this site still needs some help.
At least it stopped dropping viruses in my computer.
Off to a good start and it no longer crashes every other 3 minutes.

This was at a distant neighbors house above Helvetia, north of Hillsboro. I started looking at it when I noticed it had rear weights.
I even knocked on the guys front door once and got no response. The other day I noticed him in the driveway and so I stopped off.
We got to talking and I offered him the $500 and he was flabbergasted I offered him that much. he then motioned at the back blade and said I
could have that also.
I got the back blade back to pivoting and such, now to paint it and stick it on Craigslist for $300. The wife said Rust-O-Leum
Copper Hammered paint would look good. I was thinking Rust-O-Leum (8N) Sunrise red but if I do copper she might let me pursue further repairs
after I get it running. Weather guesser said rain this weekend and that takes me into next week Monday or such.

That's interesting. Theres a yellow one on Facebook for 500. Sounds like you did pretty good with the back blade. Ordered a battery for mine yesterday.

s atthe Helvetia Tavern late last summer for lunch...Great Place. I have family in Roy. We met up there.

So you haven't been there since the fire. Greasy burgers burnt it down with a kitchen fire. Oops. Make that overpriced greasy burgers.
The 10'10" overhead rail road trestle nearby got smacked REAL GOOD by a dump truck going under it. He forgot his bed was up about 12" from
flat down. Truck hit the overhead and ripped the dump bed off the truck, tore up some lumber on the trestle and bent the tracks.
Oops. Then there was the "Party Pro's" cube truck that couldn't read the clearance sign before that. Made a convertible truck very nicely.
No trestle damage on that one. After the dump truck, there is now a section of track set up a few feet away from the main line.
Kind of a mid air bumper.
I have been tempted to stop in and see if they are now selling char burgers. . . .
