I was posting weekly updates on my project until March or so, then I stalled out on it for a variety of reasons. Anyway I got back on it last month and it is finished!
My sheet metal work is presentable to about 5 feet, but it was full of rust and took a lot of welding and plastic to get it this far. So not perfect. To do it right it needs all new sheet metal.
But I'm happy with it. It will do fine on tractor rides.
My shop is a disaster so next project is a big clean. I lost track of my hours but think I'm about $2000 in new parts and materials. But, don't care. I enjoyed the project and got my mind off the daily turmoil, plus its cheaper than a psychiatrist.
