just a simple little question, since I have all the time in the world right now, the rear blade that I use for snow removal, I know its not that time of year, blade guard for the blade to prevent it from marking up cement drive ways, is there anything on the market or can a person make their own, looking for ideas, open to anything.
Thanks.

I would think some PVC pipe with a groove cut out would slide over the blade and protect the concrete. you could bungee cord the pipe to the blade by drilling some holes in the back portion of the pipe. It wouldn't last a very long time but depending upon how often you need it and how big your driveway is, it could last a season. Here in VA it might last two or three years. Especially with this years snow count. Zero inches.

I have been plowing asphalt for 20 years and never found the need for anything to prevent marking. Any marks that do get made disappear PDQ.
