Ferguson Cultivator parts?

I just purchased an old Massey Ferguson set of Cultivators today. Does any one know where I can find parts for this unit? I can not read the tag very well. Only know that it was produced out of Dearborn, MI

Thanks in advance for any leads you can give,

Possibly looking for shanks, nuts, and bolts. It has a Large disk that is mounted up front in the center, any ideas what this might be used for?

The shank up front is for keeping the cultivator going straight. If you google dearborn cultivator manual, click on the first thing to pop up, click on manuals forum, and then index of manuals, you would find what you are looking for. Extra shanks are available and I can give you a phone number of a guy that I am certain has some. He is in NE, but am not sure if he ships or not.

Its probably a "Dearborn" (Produced in Dearborn Michigan) and is neither "Ferguson" , or "Massey-Ferguson". The disc in front is a "stablizer" to keep it running somewhat staight behind the tractor, for "cultivating row crops"
All of the above is irrevalent to purchase of blades bolts etc, as these can be purchased from any OEM copany even JD.
The distance between the bolt holes for fastening the blades ("Shovel", "sweeps", left or right "Sweeps", (depends on usage you want it for) to the "Shanks" (Rigid or sprind tooth).
For cultivating corn or soybeans, I liked 'Shovels" (reversible as the have a pont on each side and are less agressive than others, but also work good in heavy grass or weeds.
I preferred "double sweeps" to center of row for "hiling effect and agressive nature. Half sweeps" were for intermediate shanks, depending on not coverinf little plants. In early cultivation I preferred lengthening the top link, so the shanks , by the row, were just digging, and then in latter cultivation the other way for more aggressise to throw dirt around stalks, to cover bigger weeds.
Hope this helps Some curreent finish cultivators use small sweeps on all equally spaced shanks' and the cultivator spacing could be altered and pulled by a "N", for this use.
Draft control can be used on these cultivators

When looking for parts, there are several different styles (spring shank, spring tine, rigid), with variations of those. Plus there are Ferguson and Massey-Ferguson (gray and red) brands, along with Dearborn and Ford (red and blue). Some parts interchange between brands and styles, and others don't. You really need to fiqure out which one you have. If you just need shovels, bolts, lift pins, etc., then those are somewhat universal and can be found many places, even the local farm supply store.

The center disc is a guide wheel and is used to keep the cultivator straight. Early cultivators had a fin which worked okay, but many were converted to the superior rolling disc.

There is a guy out in PA that sells implement parts and advertises a lot (no affiliation). If you look in the classified, he is Scott from PA.

(quoted from post at 07:34:56 05/03/11) Does anyone know where I could purchase shank springs for a Ferguson 9BO-20 7-ft. cultivator?

Try Agri-Supply 800-345-0169. My brother has a massey cultivator and they had parts for that.

Here's a picture of the tag on mine if that helps.
