There's an older fellow l know from SE IA
that calls me now and then for advice on
his 3000. He's cleaning up his place and
tore down an old shed. Had some N parts
in there. Bunch of new old N brakes, a
couple of transmission gears still sealed
in wax. Some used N parts too. Air
filters, etc. All from a dealer that
closed a long time ago.
Lot of surface rust on the brake shoes
but he thinks some are still useable.
I told him someone might be interested
but he wasn't going to make a fortune on
them. Maybe enough to buy his wife dinner
somewhere. Mostly it would be good to get
them in the hands of someone who
might/could use them.
He agreed with that idea.
He's not interested in piecing things
out. Has to go in one bunch.
I'm not interested. Maybe someone in the
area is. I could put you in touch with
him.
