I?m working on a 2N ford for our tractor club and it needs a new grill. I
ordered one that came today but it is different. Ours has the three pre
drilled holes for the little Ferguson emblem and it has three little
round tabs on top. The grill that came does not have these. Anyone
know where I can get a grill reasonable

Can you repair the old grill? They're actually pretty forgiving and the sheet metal is plenty thick to weld in patches if needed. I've repaired some awful looking grills and made them look decent.

Regarding the new grill, once you verify that the new grill will fit, you can use the old grill to mark the holes you need for the emblem. Use a punch to gently make an indentation in the sheet metal. Then drill the hole.

Otherwise, use ebay to look for an original grill.

The old grill is pretty bad. The new grill does not have the thee pegs on top and seems to be a little narrow . Looks like a correct grill will run 300 to 400 bucks !

Another option is to find one through a tractor bone yard. I have one locally that specializes in Fords and I think they'll ship. Link is below.

Hang on to the old grill. Even if it's bad, you can use it as a donor grill by cutting parts out and welding them into another grill.
