Yesterday I started up the snowblower, and cleaned up the upper drive....( B.G. Ford 3000, is in the shop), getting his lights harness, redone, and installing his new LED lights.

hey, gary, i'm curious - since u live right down the road from it, do u remember when Glacier National Park had lots of glaciers? i do.

Gary, I've noticed lately, that the politicians aren't calling it Global Warming anymore. Now it's Climate Change.

Seems to be your turn this year. We usually get 100+" per year and so far we have around 40".

On the shore of Lake Michigan we get the prevailing westerly winds that blast across the lake and dump snow at the lakeshore. This year nothing to really worry about and in fact it has been on the warmer side and there's almost no ice on Lake Michigan. With no icebergs at the shore the winds kick up the surf (10'-15' waves) and erode the beach. Many houses losing property and a bunch that have fallen into the lake. Lake is at a record high level too and it looks like it's going to be a mess in the spring.

Call it climate change or global warming all we know is that this is way different than what we are used to.

Gonna say I?m a little jealous. We don?t get anywhere near as much snow in MD, but we?ve had our least snowy winter in either a lifetime or recorded
history, I can?t recall, at my location. One local city hasn?t recorded ANY snowfall yet this season. Looking at my own records, we?ve had one 1.25? and
one 0.5? snowfall so far...waaaaaaay below normal. I haven?t needed to plow snow once so far this year.

I lived my first 40 about ten miles inland at the widest portion of lake michigan.
House were falling into the lake on a regular basis back in the late sixties and seventies.
It is nothing new.
