Making progress. Hood is primed to prevent surface rust, and I need to sand the bondo. My hood is pretty roasted. Really no saving it, and I don t want to spend the money on a new hood and grill assembly. So for now I ll make do with body filler.
Chassis is painted, waiting on drag links, alternator and wiring.
Hoping to have it done in two or three weeks. I only work on it on the weekends for about 4-5 hours each day.
I ll miss the antique pull meet this year. The tractor will be done, but I won t have a drawbar mount or weights in time. I don t expect to be competitive with an N series tractor, but I don t want to spin tires 50 feet into a pull due to a 2100 pound machine. Lightest weight class here is 3,000 lb.
