How to adjust the clutch rod

As near as we can figure this is a 9n could be 2n . Installed new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bearing. Question is how do we adjust the clutch rod correctly? This has the single rod that goes from clutch pedal straight to the arm that sticks out from side of clutch housing.
Hope that makes sense.
Thank you all for your help in this "project".

Remove the clevis pin from the yoke on the linkage rod and screw yoke in or out on rod as needed to get 3/16 free play at the clutch pedal.

What you are adjusting is the Clutch Release bearing / Throw out Bearing relationship to the release fingers on the pressure plate.

What you are setting up is clearance between the throw out bearing and those fingers so the bearing is not hitting/riding on those fingers all the time under normal operation. If the bearing is making constant contact it will ware the bearing and those fingers out are premature ware.

Pedal height is user preference I do not go by pedal height are play. You can take the pin out from the clutch rod to the clevis and confirm you have play at the clevis after you go thru the recommended clutch pedal free play recommendation. I always confirm play at the clevis where it goes into the transmission housing that's the TRUE adjustment.
