Pops has a 1953 Jube, has the live pto option, hydraulic lines run back from the pump, he drained and filled rear end, took out nasty 90 wt and water, put in hy-trans, he claims now live pto shudders, is this a thing, guess the live pto clutches don't like hy-trans, so back to 90 wt, anyone have any experience with this thanks dusty

IIRC the live PTO is a dry clutch.

On second thought I'll retract that.

The NAA has three separate compartments, transmission, hydraulic. and rear end (differential. )The live PTO clutch on a NAA runs off of the hydraulic oil. We drained the rear end!!! It is time for more specific information.

I suggest you investigate the true root cause problem of getting water in your hydraulic system first. Do you have the OEM Manual?
