1948 Ford 8n Draft control

Are there 3 positions to the draft control lever. My 8n appears to have a middle position on the draft lever. When I set it midway, my lift comes up higher than when it is standing straight up. When lever is straight up, lift only comes up half way.

raft is for plowing.
If you are not plowing, get out of draft control and use Position control!

There are only 2 positions.

Most likely, the cam follower pin is worn.

As JMOR said, draft control is for plowing only.

One article said you could adjust your lift if it only comes up half way by loosening the quadrant top cover and sliding elongated holes back. Does anyone have a picture of this process? I want to make sure I loosen the right 4 bolts
