Finally shoehorned my '39 9n #546 into the barn to start the tear down. The darwbar assembly appears to be homebrewed two pieces of angle welded together in the center. I guess he never thought that he would ever change the oil in the rear again so he didn't drill out an access hole for the plug. So you have to remover the bracket to change the oil and since all the trumpet to case hole are clear thru and not blind it creates quite a mess
