I wonder if anyone could post some pic's of a dearborn loader mounted on a 8n?
Not sure about the way it is bolted to the rear end.Do they use some kind of pins?
I don't know what year my 8n is.
I've have tried everything to read the letters but they won't appear.
My tractor did have a loader on it at one time.
I believe they use'd some kind some kind of a pin to hold it.
If i could get a pic of the underside of the loader showing how it's mounting to the rear axle sure would be appreciated. My loader has the old trip bucket..

A number of different schemes were used. Most but not all of the Dearborn and Wagner loaders simply bolted up to the axle housing using the fender bolts. You will get better answers if you post a picture or two of your specific loader.

For hard to read numbers on a block or I.D. plate, if you have a digital camera, especially with a macro setting, if you get the camera in there very close and take a picture of the number at different angles then use a computer editing program to edit the pictures lighting, contrast, richness and what ever else you've got, you might get the numbers to be readable.

I did that on the I.D. plate on the engine on my MF202 and managed to make it readable.

(quoted from post at 18:18:10 01/12/20) Front end or back end? Big difference.

Well i did write down rear axle,,probably should have made it more like rear end,,Right now the loader is buried under all this white stuff.I have know way to lift it right now.,

I will post some pic's but its buried under all this white stuff.I will say there are no holes that run vertical. There are holes on the sides,,2 of them on each mount. There are these square spring loaded metal tabs i'll call them that cover only one hole on each mount. They cover only one hole on each mount..Makes me think you slip some kind of pin in then let the tabs close over them.
Thanks much for the help..
