How much does everyone charge to deliver a tractor and how do you come up with your figures?

Hourly Rate? plus Mileage? X 2 for two men involved

Also do you figure for wear and tear on your vehicle?

base price (first 25 miles)weight of tractor verses est cost of fuel.wear&tear plus helper if needed=$3 a mile.not all hauling jobs are the same.

By the time I am done with a tractor I figure I did not leave them money to haul it back to'em so I deliver free...

Its always been normal to figure hauling/towing charges one way that's why you see the per mile so high... If you can pick up a haul home you are doubling up : )

Whys it take two men to deliver a
tractor? At work our lowbed driver
works by himself moving everything
from little rollers to 50 ton
excavators, only time a second man is
sent with him is when it requires
loading in a busy street

Ditto. Hauling fee should be set for operator's mileage, gas expenses, and wear and tear on his vehicle. That's it. It doesn't matter if he comes alone or with a family of 12, you don't charge by how many 'helpers' you have.
