OT: My tires and wheels are not leaving the yard

Imagine trying to sell an old tractor while also telling potential customers that the wheels, tires and battery don't come with the tractor:

Jonathan is a very nice guy and a straight shooter. I don't see anything in the ad about wheels tires and battery not going with it. The wording and quotes tells me that he has it on consignment.

The ad has been updated since yesterday. I read the early version and it was quite a bit different.

Exactly. The earlier version said to bring your rims and tires with you so that you could drive the tractor onto your trailer where he could jack it up and swap the rims and tires out because "my rims and tires are not leaving the yard". The ad then went on to say to bring a battery because the tractor does not come with a battery.

I would not have even started this thread based on the new edited version. Those who saw what was originally posted know what I'm talking about. Like tomatoboy said this was one of the least likely to sell ads I've ever seen.
