Intake/exhaust manifold

Is the old manifold I pulled off my 9N an original or from another Ford product? Has a larger plenum on the intake and it had 3 1/2 inch studs holding it on.

Looks to be aftermarket. I was told TSC used to sell that type.
Original style on top. On the bottom, the same as yours (I think).

Thanks, was just wondering. Going to have to use shorter studs on my new one. I know the engine was rebuilt at some time before we bought it 19 years ago.

Den, it came off an 8N I bought. I have had three of these now.
They required longer studs, or as two of them were installed, bolts.
I questioned whether or not they would clear the throttle linkage
on a 9N/2N, but apparently they do. [b:f1fd943635]2016 YT post[/b:f1fd943635]

Royse ,I'm not seeing how if the bolt holes are not in line with the ports.Maybe I'm missing something.

This type was a cheap Cheena made version from a few years back. Nothing special.

I'm not sure what you mean Den. The bolt holes line up correctly,
they are just spaced out away from the block instead of having
the flat flange that sets tight against block holding the gasket.
