Good morning everyone,
This is my air cleaner, I'm trying to get the mesh out to clean/replace it. The disc on the bottom that would normally pop out with a screwdriver seems to be crimped in with about 6-8 round spots around the edge. Has anyone seen this before? Did you get it open without destroying it? Maybe just boil it out for a while to get the gummy old oil/crud out of it?

I looked at dozens and dozens of pics online and can't even find one this style. Thanks for any info you have!

I thought about just getting out what I could, I figured if anyone knew a trick it would be the people here. Thanks for the help.

I had one on a MF35 diesel it was stopped up so bad it did not want to run I could not get apart I poured some gas in it and set it on fire...
That was 20 years ago its still running... It was loaded with grass it burnt quick : )

If its running OK burn off what you can see with a small touch and move on with life...

I have not seen a top like yours but the bottom is like some I have, they have always came out with a little coaxing...never damaged.
