What do you do during a hurricane they stop the show around here most are gluded to the tube for 3 days waiting for the hurricane...
This Jub showed up last week the story goes he took it to a guy to have it rewired and a few other things repaired 10 years ago the guy never finished it. I should have took a before pix 3 tires and rims bad so my first project was to take the tars off a junker so I could roll it...
I was told it was pushed outside 2 years ago the engine was stuck so I venture to un-stick it... I pop the plugs out I do not see any rust. I oil it down then swap tires from a junker to the jub this was a all day event... Next day I take the starter off use a pry bar to turn the flywheel and EX as pie it frees up : )...
Day 2... The oil filter had been removed I spec to do a rattle can restoration dirt dobbers has plugged the spin on filter adapter up... I removed it cleaned it up and for the ell of it put a battery in it and spun the engine oil squirted out the oil filter mount and plenty of it... I drop all the oil drain plugs I got 1/2 gal of water out the hydration sump and some from the trans and diff drain...
I am glad I drained all the fluids...
The carb had completely been taken apart so I put it back together. The ignition system had been taken apart so I put it back together... I was working toward getting it to run so I could evaluate it and give the owner the bad news...
Day 3 I do a bunch of little things It fired up runs good everything works as it should other than I have a issue with the carb it will not run with out plenty of choke but choked it runs out good. I got to get back into the carb and see what I missed... I drove it its a nice tractor almost makes me want one...
He's into me for about $1000 it will need anther $1000 with tires etc... You never know I would have wrote it off as junk...
