8n oil pressure

Primed oil pump through gauge port on engine.I read 15 to 18 pounds VERY much fluctuation while turning engine with drill (350) RPM,is that normal?My 730 John Deere gauge is stable when turning engine over with starter.Now my after thought How fast does a Ford starter turn over an engine?Faster than my drill?A BIG thanks for all you have helped me with so for.My first Ford.GP

The pump is obviously primed, why don't you just start it up and see what you have?

Greenpully,Does your starter not work/Is so get it working or replaced,chewck the spark and start it up.

Thanks for replies.I am a LONG way from starting,Too many parts off.Trying to find out why it was parked and left out side.Will post good or bad as I learn.GP
