Forum Chums...I have arrived
at the dreaded rear axle
seals that face all 9n 2n
owners at some juncture..few
things...Sure Seals?...not
sure I buy the whole...don't
bother with everything on the
other side...they are magic
claims...doesnt address
bearing...race...etc
..so...know I can get the
collar off...seal etc...but
my 20 ton press gonna
separate the hub and
axle??....so...do what I
can...shopwork the
rest?....or do the sure seals
REALLY work

Sure seals work great!! If bearings look and feel good, pack them good with, wheel bearing grease and put seals on. I have a sure seal I put a zerk on and pump the bearings full. Seal usually pops out when full. Install new sure seal and go!!

Sure Seals, and remove the lower bolt from the inspection plate, fill until fluid comes out. Dipstick still shows low, been perfect for ten years now.

The outer seal is bad go get it... A SS is a joke nuttin sure about it... When the job is done right a 9/2N will have better brakes than a 8N and compete with the later model brakes...

SS it and join the no brakes on a N club... Do it right and enjoy good brakes... It only takes one drop of oil/grease to fudge up the brakes just how are you going to stop that with a SS...

A SS only job is noting more than a hack job a job I would not be proud to tell anyone I did... If you go with a SS only pray for luck you will need it...

This is the battle you are gonna fight if you go there...
