RR Hood and side panels

I'm starting the partial restoration of a 2N. it is mostly in good shape but the hood and side panels are roached. (Cancer) I see the four bolts to the instrument panel and have located one from the side panel to the hood. What I am wondering about is the frame inside the hood that the gas tank sits on. Is that part of the hood? will IO need to remove the hood and then the tank or will the hood come off without moving the tank. if you can point me to a post or a video on it I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! Gas tank comes off with the hood.
Four bolts to the dash, the lower bolts in the sides of the doglegs,
the gas line and the wiring if you have lights. Lift it off as an
assembly. It is easier if the steering wheel is off, but that's not a
requirement. Help might be, especially with a full gas tank.
Once the whole thing is off, the gas tank can come out of the hood
and the doglegs could be taken off of it too if needed.

This is an 8N hood, but the same idea.

You may as well drain the tank first, because you need to turn the hood up-side down to remove the tank and of course any gas in there will come out through the vent hole.

(quoted from post at 02:16:44 08/20/19) You can buy a running tractor with a hood for $800, here???

You need a parts tractor with a good hood, etc. Might be other parts you need too. Local consignment auction seems to have several decent Ns for $500 - 1,000 pretty regularly.
