Sorry couldn't finish was needed else where, so where was I, so if I want any speed I have to hold the throttle lever, need a new one. So everthing seems to be running good, 21 lbs. oil pressure cold idle, 18-19 lbs. hot idle. Its very eager to start, last time took me 4 tries, 1 cylinder would fire which dropped out my starter, other than that time no problem. Changed upper rad hose and stat, lucky it did no blow, when I took it off it was more like a sponge hose, nothing left to it. Went to get one, no one had one, had to order, crazy price, went to auto parts place, with the help of a great counter person went through the rad hoses they had there, found one with the right diameter and length from a G.M vehicle, cut it to length put a little silicone grease on the stat, pushed as far as I could, put it on the upper rad outlet on the head, which pushed it up the rest of the way, a few hose clamps good to go. So being the city slicker that I am while I was cleaning, noticed what looks like a type of hitch under the rear end, has a type of spring loaded pin at the end that pushes up, what is it, purpose, just wondering. Until next time, everyone have a great day.

That hitch thing under the differential is for a draw bar. Do you also have a bracket mounted on the back that surrounds the PTO? That's the other place the draw bar would be hitched to.

That pin under the rear end is a good place to hook to if you want to pull a stump or something else.

As far as your throttle goes, if you're going to pull the throttle rod, you might as well replace the throttle plate at the same time. In the pics below, you can see how flat the ball is from wear in the rod . You can pry out that ball and press in a new one. It's a 3/8" ball bearing available at any sporting good store. Sold as slingshot ammo.

You can see how worn my throttle plate was compared to a new one.
