Small lever under seat?

Can anyone tell me what this lever does? (Circled in red)
directly under right side of seat. Fathers 8N, but his dementia
hinders memory of it?s function.

Emergency Flush when in the field! ; > ) GRIN. Seriously though, that is the POSITION/DRAFT CONTROL lever. The 9N was introduced in 1939 with the first effective system of draft control, designed for plowing. The 2N was a slightly improved version of the 9N, basically the same. The 8N Model was released in July, 1947 and sported 22 new changes. One of those was the addition to the hydraulic lift system for a POSITION CONTROL. If you are going to continue with Dads? 8N, I suggest you get the essential manuals.
