brake spring removal tool

I read that a special tool is available to remove springs from 8n brake shoes.I cannot find any info on it.Can some one help me locate one?Thank you GP

I think I remember seeing a video of someone doing breaks on an 8N. If I remember right, he used a regular brake spring pliers made for the auto industry.

Brake spring pliers should be available at any auto parts store.

8N brakes are different than automotive brakes rendering common brake servicing tools mostly ineffective.

I use a good pair of channel lock pliers and muscle power.

Pliers. The spring is not really tight. Remove one and the others will just come off with the pads.

WHUT.... That spring tool is one I have had for 40 years its for automotive use and does a fine job on a N removing and installing MAC# MACS13B This is why Mechanics buy quality tools and not HF junk....
