8N wheel wobble

provided the wheels themselves arnt bent, there are several things that can cause that, lift the front wheels, one at a time, and grasping the wheel at the top and bottom try pushing in and out, if you find excessive play see if its the bushings in the spindle where it goes thru the axle, those will wear, if those are tight grasp the wheel at 9 and 3 o'clock and try to move it side to side while watching the tie rod ends, at the spindle and at the steering box, do both sides, as play on one side will affect the other, also try moving the wheel in and out to see if the wheel bearings need attention, after that set the tractor on the ground with the wheels straight ahead, and see how much play is in the steering wheel, if it "raises' when trying to turn left the upper bearing is shot, if there is more than a inch and a half or two inches of play in the box before it moves the ti rod end, you can try tightening the sector shafts, ] the procedure is in the service manual and must be followed] , if that doesnt fix it, the box may need a rebuild, and while its not that difficult, you will need the service manual to do it, it and the owners manual are available here on the left side of the page , let us know what you find and we'll go from there
