LED headlights

I have not updated mine yet but need to. The best option I have found is this one on Amazon for $14. Cannot guarantee it will work but believe so.

PAR-36 is the official bulb size but they are 4.5" bulbs, headlight high beams, low beams, spots, floods etc are all popular in that size. Amazon and ebay are two popular places you can use to find what you are looking for.

Those won't work in a Tract O Lite housing, they require PAR46 which is 5 3/4".

Those won't work in a Tract O Lite housing, they require PAR46 which is 5 3/4".

It seems their may have been more than one size.
These were stamped Tract-o-lite and were 4.5 inch.
They may not have been "original" but if a fellow is installing LED
lights, he probably isn't all that concerned about originality IMHO.
I had quite a time finding the correct "ring" for the right hand side.

Good to know, I didn't realize there were 4.5" Tract o Lite knock offs. If someone wants LED headlights on a 6V system it might be the only option because I've yet to find any PAR46 LED headlights that will run on 6V.
 
So I ordered the PAR36 LED lights from Amazon. Decided to replace the rear light first. Fit no problem. Went to the fronts and no go. They are the larger 5.75". Bummer. Live and learn and do complete homework first. Will now order the PAR46.

Let us know if you find the PAR46 lights. That was what we had trouble with.
 
Never figured it would be almost impossible to find a PAR46 LED flood. Best option I found is on Amazon. Little pricey for me.

Those will only work on a 12V system.
